Sanwo-Olu Celebrates 2024 Achievements and Outlines Plans for Lagos in 2025
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has extended a heartfelt New Year’s message to the people of Lagos, applauding their resilience, innovation, and unity throughout 2024.
He spoke about the remarkable progress Lagos made over the past year and reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to building a Greater Lagos that works for all.
Reflecting on 2024, Sanwo-Olu celebrated key achievements that propelled Lagos forward.
Among these were the launch of the Red Line Rail, a project aimed at revolutionizing urban transportation, and the expansion of the Blue Line operations, which has provided Lagosians with a more efficient commuting option.
The governor also pointed to groundbreaking strides in health, education, and youth empowerment, noting that these initiatives have cemented Lagos as a hub of progress and innovation.
Governor Sanwo-Olu described Lagos as “not just a city, but an energy, a movement, and a promise.”
He called on Lagosians to continue working together, promising that his administration would deliver on the trust they have placed in him.
