Wizkid has achieved another remarkable milestone, becoming the first African artist to surpass 8 billion streams on Spotify.

One of his biggest hits, ‘One Dance,’ a collaboration with Canadian rapper Drake, stands as his most-streamed song, racking up over 2 billion streams.

This track also made history by becoming the first single to reach 1 billion streams on Spotify, earning it a spot in the Guinness World Records.

Wizkid’s fourth studio album, ‘Made in Lagos,’ particularly its deluxe edition, has also made waves, amassing nearly a billion streams on the platform.

In comparison, Burna Boy, another giant in the Afrobeats genre, has reached 7.2 billion streams, securing his place as the second-most-streamed African artist on Spotify.
