Nigerian singer Burna Boy has made history after breaking a tie with fellow Nigerian artist Tems for the most Billboard U.S. Hot 100 entries by an African artist.

It can be noted that the singer recently featured on the FIFA World Cup song and has continued to gain international recognition.

Burna Boy has now recorded 75 Billboard Hot 100 entries, making him the African artist with the most appearances on the chart. He has also maintained at least one song on the Billboard charts for six consecutive years.

Tanzanian singer Diamond Platnumz has revealed that he and his wife have ended their marriage. It can be recalled that the couple got married in June 2025 after being together for five years.

The singer shared that they both tried to save their marriage but were unable to make it work.

His wife, now his ex-wife, said “We tried, but Allah has His own plans. I have finally decided to choose myself, and this is a time to heal and focus more on my health and career. My husband and I are now separated and going through a divorce. I announce this with a heavy heart. After six years of being together, I’ve finally decided to choose myself.”

Nigerian content creator Kiekie has spoken about the type of creators she is willing to collaborate with, revealing that there are certain skit makers she would never work with.

During a recent podcast, she explained “I would never collaborate with any skit maker that is too vulgar. I will not be able to collaborate with them.”

When asked to mention a specific name, she declined and instead explained the qualities she avoids. “Let me think about it. Hmmm. I don’t have a name of one but I have seen quite a number of them. So if you’re too much breasts, bumbum, not that I have a problem with it but it’s just brand alignment.”
