J-Hope Returns to the Stage with Solo Tour in San Antonio
J-Hope, a member of the globally renowned K-pop group BTS, is set to perform at the Frost Bank Center in San Antonio, Texas, on March 26 and 27, 2025, as part of his “Hope on the Stage” solo tour. This tour marks his return to the stage following an 18-month mandatory military service in South Korea.
Fans, affectionately known as the Army, have organized several initiatives to welcome J-Hope to San Antonio. They have prepared 19,000 banners and paper fans to display during his performances. Additionally, a billboard has been set up for fans to take photos, and prominent city landmarks, including the Tower of the Americas, will be illuminated in purple—the signature color associated with BTS.
In collaboration with the Korean American Cultural Center of San Antonio, a free three-day art exhibit is being held at Nomas Arte Studio. This exhibit highlights the cultural connection between San Antonio and J-Hope’s hometown of Gwangju, South Korea.
The “Hope on the Stage” tour includes performances in other U.S. cities, such as Oakland, California, following the San Antonio concerts. Tickets for the San Antonio shows are available through Ticketmaster.
Fans attending the concerts should be aware of the weather forecast. On March 26, the forecast predicts humid conditions with intervals of clouds and sunshine, and a couple of afternoon thunderstorms, with a high of 79°F (26°C). On March 27, expect cloudy and cooler conditions with showers and a heavy thunderstorm, with a high of 69°F (20°C).

Instead, he said he is scared of poverty and has this fear because he has experienced it before. “I am not afraid of death. The only thing I am afraid of in this life is poverty, of being broke.
“I have tasted it [poverty] before. I have been in our house with my parents and siblings, and a bulldozer came and demolished it.”

Popular Nigerian singer, Davido, makes headlines for his gesture of goodwill. It can be noted that during the afternoon performance, the singer paused for one minute of silence to honor his colleague Wizkid’s mother.
The singer paused during his performance and said “Personally, I have lost many loved ones, people close to me, so I understand how Wizkid is feeling right now. May his mother, our mother because she was dear to me, rest in peace.”
This gesture touched many fans, as they were in awe of the singer showing a kind heart despite the usual rivalry between their fan bases.
