As the Premier League season nears its end, the fixtures are coming thick and fast.

Liverpool could take a big step towards the title with a win at Fulham this weekend. But before that, their rivals Everton could help them out by hosting Arsenal on Saturday.

The weekend’s highlight is undoubtedly the Manchester Derby at Old Trafford on Sunday.

Former Newcastle striker Alan Shearer shared his predictions with Betfair, saying, “Everton vs Arsenal – Arsenal need this win to put pressure on Liverpool, so I’m going for a narrow Arsenal victory. Prediction: Arsenal win.”

Cristiano Ronaldo is 69 goals away from reaching the 1,000-goal milestone. However, the Al Nassr striker insists he’s not focused on that achievement.

After scoring twice in Al Nassr’s 3-1 victory over Al-Hilal on Friday, Ronaldo emphasized that he’s more focused on the present moment than chasing records.

“Let’s enjoy the moment, lads. I’m not chasing 1,000 goals,” Ronaldo said after the match. “If it happens, great. If not, that’s fine too. What matters most is the moment, not what’s ahead.”

With 30 goals in all competitions this season, Ronaldo needs to maintain his current form for another couple of years to reach the 1,000-goal mark.

Everton midfielder Amadou Onana has named Mohamed Salah as a top contender for this year’s Ballon d’Or, calling the Liverpool star the toughest opponent he’s ever faced.

Salah is having one of his best seasons yet, leading the Premier League’s goal-scoring chart with 27 goals and topping the assist table with 17. With 32 goals in 44 appearances this season, he’s averaging nearly a goal per match.

In an interview with Sky Sports, Onana was asked about the hardest player he’s gone up against. While he didn’t face Salah directly in a one-on-one battle, he had high praise for the Egyptian forward.

“He’s the main man for Liverpool right now,” Onana said. “He’s quick, sharp, skilled, and has the finishing ability. He has everything.”

Onana also added that if Salah continues his form, this could very well be his Ballon d’Or season.
