Fireboy DML Calls Date with Madonna the “Most Memorable Day” of His Life
Fireboy DML, the Afrobeats sensation, recently shared his memorable experience of going on a date with the iconic pop star Madonna. The 29-year-old singer, who was clearly impressed by the 66-year-old legend, described their time together as an unforgettable one.
During an appearance on the 90s Baby Show, Fireboy recalled how Madonna paid for the entire date, even though he offered to pick up the tab. “It’s Madonna, man. I allowed her to handle it,” he said, with a laugh. He went on to explain that the date’s conversation and overall dynamic were a refreshing change, allowing him to view things from a completely new perspective.
Although he couldn’t reveal all the details, Fireboy described Madonna as a “crazy woman,” hinting at the wild and fun nature of their time together. In a 2024 interview with Billboard News, he called the day the “most memorable” of his life, further describing Madonna as “so weird and funny.”
The two artists previously collaborated on the remix of Madonna’s 1998 hit “Frozen” in 2022, and they even filmed a music video for the track in the United States.
