BTS Management HYBE Faces Investigation Over Insider Trading Claims
HYBE, the company that manages global K-pop stars like BTS, SEVENTEEN, and LE SSERAFIM, is currently under investigation for alleged insider trading. Authorities recently raided HYBE’s headquarters as part of the ongoing probe, and even the company’s founder is being looked into.
The investigation centers on claims that an employee at HYBE used secret information to make stock trades before the details were made public. Specifically, the employee is suspected of selling shares in YG Plus ahead of HYBE’s announced investment in the company back in July 2021. This has raised serious concerns about fairness and transparency within the company.
This is not the first time HYBE has faced such issues. In 2024, former and current employees were charged with similar offenses after they sold shares before BTS announced their break in June 2022—a move that caused HYBE’s stock price to drop significantly.
HYBE has said it is fully cooperating with investigators and is taking steps to strengthen its internal policies to prevent such incidents from happening again. The company wants to assure fans, investors, and the public that it is committed to maintaining ethical standards and transparency.
The case has drawn attention to the need for stricter oversight in the entertainment industry, especially with big companies that hold so much influence. Many are watching closely to see how HYBE will handle the situation and work to regain trust.

Moses Bliss has now issued an apology, saying “I sincerely apologize to every graphic designer who felt disrespected or undervalued… that was never my intention.”
He added “The goal was to give creatives a platform to showcase their work, not to undermine their value.”
