“I Thought I Made the Biggest Mistake of My Life” — Teju Babyface Reflects on Relocating Abroad
Nigerian comedian, Teju Babyface, speaks on the realities of relocating to the United States. The comedian shared that life abroad isn’t as easy as it seems and even admitted that he regrets relocating.
It can be noted that the comedian moved a few months before the COVID-19 pandemic and revealed that this was part of his challenges.
“When we were leaving Nigeria, I knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that it was the necessary next step in my career evolution — for us as a family, as a unit. But when we got here and the challenges started, especially considering that COVID-19 began a few months after we arrived, I was convinced I had made the biggest mistake of my life.”
