Nigerian actress and movie producer Ruth Kadiri has expressed her deep love for her craft in a recent post on her official Instagram page. Ruth Kadiri, who has built a reputation as a prominent figure in Nollywood, shared her ambitious plans to revolutionize Nigerian cinema and create a lasting brand.
In her heartfelt message, Kadiri emphasized her commitment to producing high-quality films that will resonate with audiences. She revealed her desire to change the industry’s norms and ensure that viewers choose her movies based on trust in her brand rather than promotional efforts.
“The way my brain functions! I ask myself what would become of my brand if I had no promotional help from anyone. Truthfully, I don’t rely on anyone, so when help isn’t offered, I’m not bothered. I promise you all, I’ll change the pattern in Nigerian cinema! You’ll watch my movies not because someone begged you to, but because you trust me!”
Ruth Kadiri, a mother of two, also spoke about her vision for building a long-lasting brand. She emphasized the importance of creating a solid structure that doesn’t rely on constant promotion. “I’m here to build a brand of longevity that doesn’t require constant begging. I, Ruth Kadiri, am not in a hurry. Building a solid structure is all I’m about. So, when you see that opening credit with my name on it, you know your money or data is never going to be wasted!”
Kadiri’s post comes after giving fans a behind-the-scenes look into her life in a recent interview. Her determination to reshape the Nigerian film industry and her unwavering confidence in her brand have inspired many of her followers.
Nigerian actor Tobi Makinde has reacted to rumours circulating about his relationship with Funke Akindele.
It can be noted that reports claimed the two were no longer on speaking terms and had grown apart.
However, the actor has dismissed the rumours, stating that nothing has changed between them and that social media is making assumptions.
“Nothing really happened between me and Madam Funke, and I am not aware of any fallout. Social media likes constructing their own script, and when they are done, they start looking for people to fill in the character they want.”
Nigerian singer Ayra Starr has shared her views on faith and religion. She explained that her relationship with God is personal and not solely based on church attendance, but something she works on daily.
“I can only try to be as perfect as Jesus is. I am not there yet, but I’m trying my best. I have a very close relationship with God and the Holy Spirit, and it doesn’t come with me only being in church.”
She added “Everything that comes with religion can feel limiting. I have found a way that works for me, and I am fine with it for now.”
Popular rapper Cardi B has issued a strong warning to individuals who stole and used her credit card.
It can be noted that the rapper had earlier expressed her frustration on social media after discovering her card was stolen and used before it could be frozen.
She later revealed that the stores where the transactions occurred captured clear images of the suspects, and she intends to pursue justice.
“I got clear pictures of you all in Saks and in Apple. One thing about me is that I don’t play with my money. You all are going to jail,”.
