BBNaija Star Doyin Shares Her Perspective on Relationships
Big Brother Naija Star Doyin has shared her views on relationships, stating that her primary reason for dating is to enjoy companionship rather than aiming for marriage. In a recent interview with media personality Olufemi Daniel, Doyin revealed she is currently in a relationship. When asked about marriage, she explained that she is indifferent to whether a relationship leads to marriage or not.
“I never really date to get married; I date to have a good time. I date because I enjoy your company; I date for companionship, whether it leads to marriage or not,” said Doyin.
When Olufemi asked if she dates for sex, Doyin responded, “Sex is part of companionship, isn’t it? But it’s not the main reason I’m dating. I date for companionship, not for marriage. If it doesn’t lead to marriage, I’m fine; we had a good time. But if it does, I’m okay with doing a life partnership if marriage doesn’t happen.”
Doyin also questioned traditional views of marriage, highlighting its legal and societal aspects. “At the end of the day, what is marriage really? Is it about signing papers? It’s not important to me, and I’m not trying to talk down on constitutional marriage,” she said. “Companionship is important to me. I want a lifetime of companionship, whether we’re married or not. I just want someone who is my person for the rest of my life, so it’s not important to me that we have to be legally married,” she concluded.
Cardi B has confirmed she’s moved on, going public with her new man, NFL star Stefon Diggs. The rapper made it official on Instagram on Monday, sharing cozy and romantic photos of the two, putting any rumors to rest.
This new chapter in her love life comes while she’s still dealing with her messy split from Offset. Back in August 2024, Cardi filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences. Offset responded months later in February 2025, asking for joint custody of their three kids. More recently, he’s also requested spousal support, adding more drama to the already public breakup.
Popular influencer Kylie Jenner has once again stepped out with her lover, American actor Timothée Chalamet. The pair appeared at a recent Knicks game, arriving in matching jackets and looking absolutely adorable.
