BBNaija Star Doyin Shares Her Perspective on Relationships

Big Brother Naija Star Doyin has shared her views on relationships, stating that her primary reason for dating is to enjoy companionship rather than aiming for marriage. In a recent interview with media personality Olufemi Daniel, Doyin revealed she is currently in a relationship. When asked about marriage, she explained that she is indifferent to whether a relationship leads to marriage or not.
“I never really date to get married; I date to have a good time. I date because I enjoy your company; I date for companionship, whether it leads to marriage or not,” said Doyin.
When Olufemi asked if she dates for sex, Doyin responded, “Sex is part of companionship, isn’t it? But it’s not the main reason I’m dating. I date for companionship, not for marriage. If it doesn’t lead to marriage, I’m fine; we had a good time. But if it does, I’m okay with doing a life partnership if marriage doesn’t happen.”
Doyin also questioned traditional views of marriage, highlighting its legal and societal aspects. “At the end of the day, what is marriage really? Is it about signing papers? It’s not important to me, and I’m not trying to talk down on constitutional marriage,” she said. “Companionship is important to me. I want a lifetime of companionship, whether we’re married or not. I just want someone who is my person for the rest of my life, so it’s not important to me that we have to be legally married,” she concluded.

Blessing CEO Speaks on Why Some Men Feel Threatened by Successful Women

Nigerian relationship coach, Blessing CEO, shares her thoughts on why some men dislike the fact that their women are more successful and see it as a threat to their marriage.
During a recent interview, the relationship coach spoke on the general issue of how some men react to their women being more successful. She shared that they mostly fear the masculinity that comes with it.
“No man is intimidated by your success. They are only afraid of the masculinity that comes with success. Because when a woman starts to make money on her own, she automatically becomes a man. Once you can provide, you automatically become a man. You will see yourself subconsciously dragging might. Because at the end of the day, what makes a man powerful is the ability to provide. That is what gives him that mantle.”
