Obi Cubana: Poor Men’s Children Acquiring Rich Men’s Wealth
Popular Nigerian socialite Obi Iyiegbu, also known as Obi Cubana, recently shared insights on wealth accumulation and generational dynamics.
He observed that today, the children of poor men are acquiring the properties once owned by rich men, whose wealth often dissipates after their passing. Cubana emphasized the importance of not solely focusing on acquiring wealth but also on enjoying it during one’s lifetime.
He pointed out a societal shift where the offspring of yesterday’s rich now serve the children of yesterday’s poor, highlighting the cyclical nature of prosperity. Cubana concluded with a reflection on the fleeting nature of time and the significance of ensuring acquired wealth benefits society positively.
Nigerian actor Tobi Makinde has reacted to rumours circulating about his relationship with Funke Akindele.
It can be noted that reports claimed the two were no longer on speaking terms and had grown apart.
However, the actor has dismissed the rumours, stating that nothing has changed between them and that social media is making assumptions.
“Nothing really happened between me and Madam Funke, and I am not aware of any fallout. Social media likes constructing their own script, and when they are done, they start looking for people to fill in the character they want.”
Nigerian singer Ayra Starr has shared her views on faith and religion. She explained that her relationship with God is personal and not solely based on church attendance, but something she works on daily.
“I can only try to be as perfect as Jesus is. I am not there yet, but I’m trying my best. I have a very close relationship with God and the Holy Spirit, and it doesn’t come with me only being in church.”
She added “Everything that comes with religion can feel limiting. I have found a way that works for me, and I am fine with it for now.”
Popular rapper Cardi B has issued a strong warning to individuals who stole and used her credit card.
It can be noted that the rapper had earlier expressed her frustration on social media after discovering her card was stolen and used before it could be frozen.
She later revealed that the stores where the transactions occurred captured clear images of the suspects, and she intends to pursue justice.
“I got clear pictures of you all in Saks and in Apple. One thing about me is that I don’t play with my money. You all are going to jail,”.
