D’banj to Release Star-Studded Album “Entertainer – The Sequel” on August 9, 2024
D’banj is set to release his fifth album, *Entertainer – The Sequel*, on August 9, 2024. The album, a creative blend of Afrobeats and Afropop, includes eleven songs and two bonus tracks. D’banj has collaborated with an impressive roster of international and African stars, such as Grammy winner Wyclef Jean, Congolese icon Awilo Logomba, Senegalese legend Youssou N’Dour, American superstar Akon, South African DJ Maphorisa, and *The Voice* sensation Chechi Sarai. Nigerian artists Phyno, Timaya, Kayswitch, Zlatan, Peruzzi, Bhadboi Oml, and Chuchu Lee also feature on the album. Ahead of its release, D’banj dropped the single “Worthy,” featuring Youssou N’Dour and Chechi Sarai, offering fans a taste of what’s to come.
Expressing his excitement, D’banj described the album as a reflection of his artistic growth and dedication to advancing African music. He shared, “Life is a maze of self-discovery, and my new album confirms this truth to me. It’s a true reflection of my growth as an artist and my continued commitment to pushing the boundaries of African music.” Following the album’s release, D’banj plans to embark on a global tour in partnership with The Temple Company, bringing his new music to fans around the world.

It can be noted that the singer took to social media asking for a graphic designer to create a flyer, which later turned into a challenge that many criticised, stating it undervalued creatives.
Moses Bliss has now issued an apology, saying “I sincerely apologize to every graphic designer who felt disrespected or undervalued… that was never my intention.”
He added “The goal was to give creatives a platform to showcase their work, not to undermine their value.”
