Garba Adamu, a former presidential aspirant from the All Progressives Congress (APC), has made serious allegations against Ukraine and the CIA concerning the recent EndBadGovernance protests in Nigeria.

Adamu claims that these entities were involved in spreading Russian flags among the protesters in an attempt to undermine President Bola Tinubu’s administration.

Adamu asserts that Ukraine, in collaboration with the CIA and certain domestic political allies, orchestrated this act as part of a broader strategy to destabilize Nigeria’s current government.

This accusation follows reports that some EndBadGovernance protesters in Northern Nigeria were seen waving Russian flags during the demonstrations.

The Department of State Services (DSS) responded by apprehending the tailor responsible for making the flags.

In a statement posted on X, Adamu elaborated on his claims, suggesting that the presence of the Russian flags was a deliberate effort by Ukraine and the CIA to sabotage the Nigerian government.

He further contends that this incident is part of a larger pattern of Ukraine trying to extend its conflict with Russia into Africa, pointing to recent similar actions in Mali where Ukraine allegedly allied with terrorists against the local government.

Adamu warned that Nigeria needs to be vigilant and strategic in its approach to the political dynamics of the Sahel region, emphasizing that while the situation is complex, it presents opportunities that should be navigated wisely.
