GoFundMe Campaign Launched for Mr Ibu’s Burial Costs

The family and friends of the beloved actor John Okafor, famously known as Mr Ibu, have launched a GoFundMe campaign to help cover the costs of his upcoming burial.
Mr Ibu’s funeral is planned to take place soon after his passing at Evercare Hospital in Lagos, where he succumbed to a prolonged illness that required several surgeries, including the amputation of his leg.
To honor his memory and celebrate his life, a central planning committee of family and friends is organizing the funeral and reaching out to the public for donations to manage the expenses.
They highlighted the substantial medical bills Mr Ibu incurred and are seeking public support to ensure he receives a fitting farewell.
The planned funeral events will include a novelty football match, a candlelight vigil, and a wake to commemorate his life and legacy.

Nigerian producer Ayebo Yemi Solomon takes to the media to express his dissatisfaction in being left out by rapper Olamide. It can be noted that the singer was inspired by the producer film “Yemi My Lover”.
In a recent interview, Solomon shares his expectations with being recognized by the rapper but was forgotten. He still shows appreciation to the fact that his work inspired that singer.
“Olamide didn’t call me when he released the song. I was happy, but not happy. When the video dropped, I was expecting a call, at least a feature. I tried to see him, but it didn’t work.”

It can be recalled that Halle Bailey recently spoke out against the rapper and claimed abuse by the rapper. The actress was also recently granted a restraining order against DDG which grants a 100 yard distance from him.
His mother, Tonya then takes to social media to leave a comment on the allegations made “I don’t usually comment or say anything on this Internet even with all this negativity, the lies, hatred against mine. However, these accusations have made me realize that I’ve been quiet too long”.
