Former Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas has voiced his disappointment over Emile Smith Rowe’s departure from Arsenal this summer. The 24-year-old midfielder has joined Fulham on a five-year contract after six seasons with Arsenal, where he scored 18 goals across all competitions. Smith Rowe’s playing time had diminished in recent seasons due to injuries and a dip in form.

Fabregas, speaking on the Planet Premier League podcast, praised Smith Rowe’s qualities in the attacking third, saying, “I’m a big fan of him. He’s so powerful when driving the ball, with a keen instinct for scoring and being in the right place at the right time. He understands passing and the third man exceptionally well.”
