Taylor Swift Endorses Kamala Harris and Tim Walz for 2024 Election
American singer-songwriter Taylor Swift has officially endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris for the 2024 Presidential Election.
Swift made this announcement on her Instagram page on Wednesday, following the recent presidential debate between former President Donald Trump and Vice President Harris.
In her post, Swift shared her decision to vote for Harris and her running mate, Tim Walz, emphasizing her belief in Harris’s dedication to championing rights and causes that Swift is passionate about.
She praised Harris as a “steady-handed, gifted leader” and expressed confidence that their leadership would foster significant progress.
Swift also highlighted her admiration for Tim Walz, noting his long-standing advocacy for LGBTQ+ rights, in vitro fertilization, and women’s bodily autonomy.
She expressed her satisfaction with Harris’s choice of Walz as a running mate, underscoring their shared values and commitment to crucial issues.
Encouraging her followers, especially first-time voters, Swift reminded them of the importance of voter registration and early voting.
She pledged to provide information on how to register and find early voting dates in her Instagram story.
