American actor and producer Danny Pintauro, best known for his role in Who’s the Boss?, recently revealed that he underwent emergency surgery after a Thanksgiving night scooter accident led to severe complications.

Initially suspecting a broken arm, Pintauro experienced escalating chest, stomach, and shoulder pain the following day, making it difficult to breathe. His husband, Wil, rushed him to the hospital, where doctors discovered a tear in his stomach had caused a dangerous bloodstream infection.

“This was the worst moment of my life,” Pintauro shared on Instagram, along with photos and videos from the hospital. “The pain was excruciating.”

Following successful overnight surgery, Pintauro expressed gratitude to the medical team and credited his quick response for saving his life. “If I had waited any longer, I could’ve died,” he wrote.

The actor assured fans that his arm wasn’t broken after all and is now on the road to recovery.
