Actress Yvonne Jegede Shares Why She Thinks Marriage Is Overrated
Nigerian actress Yvonne Jegede shares her thoughts on marriage and describes it as an overrated act.
During a recent interview, the actress shared that she is only open to marriage if it comes. “I think marriage is overrated. A lot of people who dated for 10 to 15 years got married, and they broke up within 2 to 3 years. Sometimes, you wonder why such couples didn’t just remain unmarried.”
“Because when they add the marriage tag, a lot of intolerance gets in the way. I think it is better to find who you love and just cohabit with them.”
Nigerian actress Bisola Aiyeola speaks on motherhood and when she found out she was first going to be a mother.
She revealed that she was afraid when she first found out and revealed that she was engaged at that time, however they didn’t get married.
“So it was so shameful because my mum was a single mum and I am about to become one, I feared my child might also have the same fate,” she recalled.
She then added that at the end of the day she is grateful for her daughter after she accepted her fate.

Nigerian singer Asake speaks on his relationship with his father. In a recent interview he shared that he loves his father despite any distance.
“The love is still the same between me and my dad, even if I don’t live with him or see him every day, Even if he points a gun at me, till eternity he will always be my dad, and I will still show him the same love.”
It can be noted that few weeks back the singer gifted his father and his mother a car.
