Nigerian singer Adekunle Gold has clarified rumours surrounding the birth of his child.

The singer shared that he and his wife, Simi, did not welcome twins as widely speculated online, but instead welcomed a son.

In a recent interview, he said “My wife and I didn’t give birth to twins, it is just internet rumours. We have a son.”

The singer also reacted to how quickly the rumours spread online, while fans continued congratulating the couple nonetheless.

Nigerian reality TV star Phyna has spoken about how her perception of marriage has changed since turning 30.

She revealed that reaching the milestone made her reflect on how she used to view older unmarried women when she was younger.

She said “I remember that time all those my aunties that were in their early 30s and were not married. I’d be like, ‘Auntie, you no go marry? Auntie, you no marry?’ Back then, it looked like the auntie had a problem.”

He shared that listening to Peter Obi speak about Nigeria gave him hope that the country could have better leadership.

He said “I saw this video yesterday and it really broke me. It did things to me that I cannot even express. No one should be made to go through these things simply because they want to lead and see Nigeria become better.”
