Adesua Etomi Opens Up on Health Scare and Family’s Tough 2024

Adesua Etomi has shared the tough battles her family faced in 2024, revealing how the year tested her strength in unimaginable ways.

In a heartfelt Instagram post marking her 2025 birthday, the actress expressed deep gratitude for making it through a year filled with health struggles and emotional challenges.

She opened up about undergoing an emergency C-section, saying the situation nearly cost her life. At the same time, her husband, singer Banky W, had to undergo surgery to remove a cancerous tumor.

“2024 really tried to shake me,” she wrote. “I was sick for months with hyperemesis, hospitalized, and then found out the love of my life needed another surgery while I was pregnant. Then came the emergency C-section. It was a lot, but God saw me through.”

Nigerian singer Ycee reacts to the criticism and ongoing conversation surrounding his comments about the “Olodo uprising.”

He reacted to the fact that he received backlash for using Peller as an example. “Some people are saying I shouldn’t have called Peller’s name, but I said what I said. If you feel offended, you should check yourself. A lot of people are also taking what I said out of context. The olodo uprising is even worse than I thought because there are so many people coming out to defend it.”

“My call is to people that are tired of brain-rot content. There is no reason why intelligent people cannot be streamers or content creators.”
