Nigerian singer Portable has called out his colleagues, claiming that they prevent rising stars from truly shining in the music industry.

He mentioned names and shared that artistes like Davido, Wizkid, Olamide, and Burna Boy have remained at the top for years, making it difficult for emerging artistes to break through.

He said “Wizkid, Olamide, Davido, and Burna Boy have been at the top for over 10 years and are blocking the way for other artistes to come up. They also lie a lot; they can say they bought a chain for one billion dollars, whereas it might have been given to them for free.”

Nigerian singer Simi has revealed her personal struggles while working on her latest song, “Where You Dey,” featuring Chike.

The singer shared that she experienced health issues and couldn’t release the song as planned last year.

She wrote “I really, really, really wanted to drop this song last year. When I first put out the snippet, I was so excited, but it was hard to finish it on time because everything was a blur.”

She added “I was sick and weak and nauseous and tired, and my body just wouldn’t do what I wanted it to. Even in the snippet video, I wasn’t feeling great. I was just trying my best.”

Nigerian singer Mr Eazi has addressed rumours regarding himself and his wife, Temi Otedola, welcoming a child and her being pregnant.

It can be noted that the rumours started after a fan shared an AI-generated image of the couple looking pregnant, which some people believed.

However, Mr Eazi responded to the claims with a humorous question, saying “Is Temi aware of this?”
