‘America Is More Dangerous’ — DDG Compares Nigeria and America During Visit

American rapper DDG has spoken about Nigeria, stating that the negative version of the country often seen online is largely misleading.

It can be noted that the rapper recently arrived in Lagos, Nigeria, after discovering that he has Nigerian roots. His curiosity about the country grew over time, eventually leading him to visit and experience Lagos firsthand.

Speaking during an interview, DDG shared his thoughts on safety, stressing that despite Nigeria’s challenges, he believes the United States is far more dangerous.

“I honestly think America is the most dangerous country. I don’t think Nigeria is as dangerous as America — nowhere near,” he said.

“No doubt, there is insecurity in Nigeria. But gun violence and gangsterism are not as common here as they are in America. So, if anybody is thinking about coming to Nigeria, pull up.”
