Amorim Not Sure He Will Still Be at Man U When the Club Returns to Glory
Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has admitted he’s unsure if he’ll still be in charge when the club eventually returns to its former glory.
His remarks follow United’s FA Cup heartbreak, where they were knocked out by Fulham in a penalty shootout during the fifth round.
Despite their struggles in the Premier League, sitting in 14th place, the Red Devils are still seen as strong contenders for the Europa League title.
Amorim has been clear about his ambition to win the league with United, but he acknowledged that he might not be around when success finally comes.
“I don’t know if I’ll still be here, but the way we are thinking, we will return and we will win in the future,” he told Sky Sports. “But that’s the risk. We’re making changes, but when you don’t get results, sometimes people have to go, and we understand that.”
