Ancelotti Says Next Clásico is Key for Real Madrid’s La Liga Title Chance
Carlo Ancelotti has acknowledged that next weekend’s Clásico could be “almost” crucial for Real Madrid’s hopes of winning the La Liga title. Speaking after Madrid’s 3-2 win over Celta Vigo on Sunday, Ancelotti said the team’s chances of catching Barcelona are alive, with just four points separating them.
A win for Madrid at Montjuïc would cut the gap to just one point with three games left in the season. “It won’t be decisive, but almost,” Ancelotti said when asked if Madrid needed to beat Barcelona to stay in the race.
“Winning would put us just a point behind. While the title would still be in Barcelona’s hands, we’d definitely have a better shot.” Barcelona have won all three of this season’s Clásicos so far.

“We Were Forced to Leave Immediately” — Iran Coach Speaks Out
The coach of Iran’s club described his team’s journey as the most oppressive in this World Cup. It can be noted that the country was announced to play against Los Angeles after their draw with New Zealand.
The coach shared that they had already planned to rest for a day for recovery before returning, but instead were told to leave immediately.
“After the game, they said to us, ‘You have to leave immediately. We’ve been asked to get on a plane and return to our camp in Tijuana, and we are really troubled by that.’
“They are forcing us to go back early. They are making the situation more and more difficult, more hurdles, but we’re not going to let that stop us from doing our best.”
