Ariana’s ”Boy is mine” music video

Pop artist Ariana Grande released her music video on one of her songs “The boy is mine”, the video was released on the 8th of June, 2024.
Now we can say that the music video was genius as it started with a cameo of Brandy and Monica. These famous singers also sang a song back in the days titled “The boy is mine” this song was released in the year 1998.
This little cameo gave the fans a sense of nostalgia and a sign of respect to title of the song. The audience has shared positive feedbacks on the appearance of Brandy and Monica but the surprise doesn’t end there.
Penn Badley, an actor who is popularly known for his recent series “YOU” featured in the music video. His appearance alone gave excitement to the audience.
Now let’s dive into the rest of the video, the music video shows us Ariana as a cat woman who is obsessed with a guy and stalks him, the guy being Penn. Now this scenario gives the audience déjàvu towards the series “YOU” as the show is about the character stalking people.
So some can say the roles were reversed in the music video but there was a strong appreciation to that little detail which added to the popularity of the video.

Popular Nigerian Artist, Rema has addressed his self confidence and self esteem to the public. He shares that his confidence should not be mistaken as arrogance.
During a recent interview with Rolling stone, the singer shares that he takes pride in his dedication to music and his accomplishments.
Rema then states he doesn’t understand how recognizing his accomplishments as arrogance. “I didn’t pull down the two, I didn’t pull down the three. I just see myself as one of the greats, and it’s a problem. I’m not saying ‘oh f**k everybody.’ I really vouch for the unity of Afrobeats.”

Ex Big Brother Naija star, DeeOne takes to his social media account to lament on the loss of his Tik tok account.
The reality star then claims that the loss was planned out by activist, VeryDarkMan. DeeOne accuses VeryDarkMan of being manipulative and misleading the government.
The reality star also claimed that VDM has connections in Nigeria and abroad and uses it to manipulate the public.
After his allegations, DeeOne addresses the latest incident with the NYSC corp member. He shares that there was no need to speak on it as the corp member has voiced out her concerns. The reality star states that the choice is now left to the authorities.
