Super Eagles footballer, Alex Iwobi, speaks on the World Cup and reveals their hope to play in the 2026 World Cup.

He shared that the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) is hopeful about hearing from them after they submitted a petition against the Democratic Republic of Congo.

“I mean we’re still waiting, well hopefully we can go to the World Cup, but I feel it’s a tough one.

“It’s a tough one because winning AFCON is like… It’s a great legacy, it’s a great thing to have in your career, a memorable moment. But then at the same time, because I’ve been to the World Cup already, a lot of the players haven’t been.”

It has been reported that footballer Paul Pogba has reportedly been dropped out from Monaco’s Champions League squad.

Meaning the player will not be in the next game against PSG. It was also shared that he was not the only player dropped off; Mohammed Salisu and Takumi Minamino were also dropped off.

It can be noted that the player has just appeared 3 times this season.

Former footballer, Wayne Rooney speaks on Arsenal and stated that Viktor Gyökeres is really transforming the team this season.

During a recent interview, he stated “We saw what Gyökeres did at Sporting, I know it was obviously a different country but he was scoring more goals than anyone and was absolutely on fire.”

“I have backed Gyökeres this season and people have given me a bit of stick but I still think he is making a difference for Arsenal, I really do.”
