Aston Villa Hopes Champions League Can Help Them Sign Lookman
Aston Villa are eyeing a summer move for Nigerian forward Ademola Lookman and hope Champions League football will help seal the deal.
The Atalanta star is likely to leave the Serie A side at the end of the season, with several clubs across England, Italy, and Spain keeping tabs on him.
Villa are reportedly confident that qualifying for the Champions League for a second year in a row could boost their chances of landing the 27-year-old.
Atalanta are said to be asking for around €60 million to let the pacey winger go. Lookman, who joined the Italian club from RB Leipzig in 2022, has grown into one of their key attacking threats.
