She’s now ahead of Yemi Alade, who previously held the record with 805 million views, making Ayra the most-viewed Nigerian female artiste on the platform. Her Grammy-nominated hit Rush played a major role in this achievement, racking up over 450 million views alone.

With this new milestone, Ayra Starr joins a powerful lineup of Nigerian music stars like Burna Boy, Wizkid, Davido, Rema, Ckay, Fireboy, Kizz Daniel, Omah Lay, Flavour, Tekno, and P-Square—who have all crossed the 1 billion mark on YouTube.
