Ayra Starr has officially become the first Nigerian female artist to reach 1 billion views on YouTube. She’s now ahead of Yemi Alade, who previously held the record with 805 million views, making Ayra the most-viewed Nigerian female artiste on the platform. Her Grammy-nominated hit Rush played a major role in this achievement, racking up over 450 million views alone.

With this new milestone, Ayra Starr joins a powerful lineup of Nigerian music stars like Burna Boy, Wizkid, Davido, Rema, Ckay, Fireboy, Kizz Daniel, Omah Lay, Flavour, Tekno, and P-Square—who have all crossed the 1 billion mark on YouTube.

Former Nickelodeon star, Kianna Underwood, has reportedly passed away from a hit and run incident.

It was stated that the 33 year old actress was hit by a grey vehicle when crossing the street. And was left by the vehicle after the hit.

The NYPD received the emergency call at around 6am and made it there shortly after, however the actress was pronounced dead.
