Arteta Tells Arsenal to Give It All in Champions League Showdown

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has made it clear—his players need to be ready to lay everything on the line if they want a shot at the Champions League final.
The Gunners face a tough test on Wednesday as they head to Paris to take on PSG in the second leg of their semi-final. They’re chasing a comeback after falling 1-0 in the first leg, with history on the line—a win would mark just their second ever Champions League final appearance.
Speaking to ESPN, Arteta couldn’t hide his emotions ahead of the big night at Parc des Princes.
“It’s excitement, it’s that feeling of goosebumps, just wanting the day to come,” he said. “We’re ready, we believe, and this is a rare chance—to play in a Champions League final. When you’re this close, you’ve got to be ready to give it everything.” In a major boost for the squad, Thomas Partey returns after missing the first leg through suspension.

Kroos Says Pedri is the Best Midfielder in the World Right Now

Toni Kroos, the former Germany midfielder, has praised Barcelona’s Pedri as the best player in his position right now. Despite his history with Real Madrid, Kroos didn’t hesitate to compliment the Catalan star, highlighting Pedri’s ability to score goals, provide assists, and offer creative solutions on the field.
“Pedri is the best in his role at the moment,” Kroos said. “He’s a player you miss when he’s not playing, no matter who you’re up against. He doesn’t just score or assist—he gives you options.”
Kroos also shared some impressive stats about Pedri’s performances this season. In the Champions League, Pedri averages 52 successful dribbles per game, and in La Liga, that number jumps to 59, where he regularly beats 11 to 12 defenders each match. “That’s the toughest thing for a midfielder to do,” Kroos added. “He’s the best, and when he’s missing, you really feel it.”
