BBN Reality Star, BamBam Opens Up About Traumatic Childbirth Experience
Big Brother Naija Star, BamBam speaks on her personal experiences and struggles with childbirth.
In a recent interview the reality star opens up about the realities of postpartum care. BamBam revealed that she went through several medical complications during the birth of her child. She shared that she needed extra care afterwards to fully recover.
“My kidney failed, my heart became weak, my liver, everything was just shutting down. She had detached from the placenta; if I was a second late, she would have lost oxygen, and I would have had a stillbirth.”
“Every time I look at her, I just say ‘what if’. That word tormented me; what if the doctor wasn’t attentive? What if the nurse didn’t do her due diligence? It haunted me for a while, I had to get therapy to walk me through being grateful.”
Nigerian Fuji artist Shanko Rasheed Atanda sadly reports the loss of his first son, Jamaldeen Atanda.
The artist took to social media and revealed this sad news.
“So sad, no parent prays to lose a child in their lifetime but Alhamdulilahi Jamaldeen Emirs Atanda JNR rest well my champ I will surely tell you all about it when I see you again. Omo Ola sun reeee,” he wrote.
