Big Brother Naija’s Wanni and Handi, recently shared a shocking and painful experience about how a close friend betrayed them by leaking their private photos.

This was revealed as they discussed the difficult lessons they’ve learned about friendship and the trust they place in others.

In an interview on the BTS Reality Show podcast, the twins opened up about the deep emotional toll the incident had on them.

Wanni explained that the betrayal stemmed from an argument with a married woman they had considered a friend.

After confronting her over hurtful remarks she made about them, the woman responded by posting their private pictures on social media.

The twins shared how this experience, among others, has shaped their approach to relationships. They admitted that over time, they’ve grown wary of forming close bonds with others, especially after dealing with girls who had spread hurtful rumours about them.

They revealed that these experiences had made them much more cautious and defensive.

Handi added that they have learned to be more selective about the people they allow into their lives.

“We’re not just scared of people; we’re learning to protect ourselves,” she said.

“We’ve become more careful, and now we keep our circle small.

It’s not about being cold or distant, but about valuing trust and mutual respect.”

Additionally, they also mentioned that they now approach relationships with a more strategic mindset, keeping friends for specific reasons rather than forming bonds out of emotional necessity.

Their experiences have made them realize that not everyone has good intentions, and sometimes, even those closest to you can cause irreparable harm.
