Mathew Knowles, the father of pop sensation Beyoncé, has spoken out after his daughter received no nominations at the 2024 Country Music Awards.

Despite Beyoncé’s remarkable achievements this year, including having the top country song and album, she was overlooked for any awards.

Knowles expressed his frustration, alleging that the Country Music Awards’ voting process is influenced by racial biases rather than merit.

He suggested that the lack of recognition for Beyoncé’s work is indicative of a broader issue within the industry.

“There’s a predominance of white voters in America, and unfortunately, their choices sometimes reflect racial biases rather than focusing purely on talent and accomplishments,” Knowles told TMZ.

Beyoncé’s album, Cowboy Carter, has been both critically acclaimed and commercially successful, making its exclusion from the nominations even more surprising.

This situation has sparked a broader conversation about representation and fairness in award selections.
