Blaqbonez Claims to Have More Music Than Any Nigerian Artist

Nigerian rapper Emeka Akumefule, widely known as Blaqbonez, recently asserted that he has a larger discography than any other artist in Nigeria.

The rapper, famous for his track ‘Like Ice Spice,’ acknowledged that while he may not be the most commercially successful artist in the country, his extensive body of work speaks for itself.

During a recent music masterclass, Blaqbonez reflected on his prolific output, revealing that he used to release new music every week.

He emphasized his belief in the sheer volume of his discography, stating, “I’ve consistently put out more music than any other artist in Nigeria. I’m confident about this fact.”

Blaqbonez also touched on his earlier career, noting his achievements in rap competitions across Nigeria as far back as 2011. He added, “I may not be the most successful artist in terms of visibility, but the depth of my work is substantial.

Many may judge me by what they see now, but they don’t see the countless hours and competitions I dominated to build my career.”

While speaking on how they met, the singer expressed deep gratitude towards Chris Brown for what he has brought into his life.

The friend called me one day on Facetime and my song was playing at the background, I asked where he was and he said he was at Chris Brown’s house. I was like, ‘What? Y’all playing my music?’ And he showed me Chris dancing to my song.

“He gave Chris Brown the phone, that was the first time we had conversation. A few months later, I went to America and linked up with Chris. From the first time we met, we just naturally became friends.”
