The company, founded by childhood friends Chukwuka “CKay” Ekweani and Joseph Salubi, also has an American subsidiary, Boyfrnd Music LLC., to support artists, songwriters, and producers on a global scale. The founders, both from Kaduna, Nigeria, aim to provide comprehensive services that include music management, publishing, and A&R to help creatives secure their royalties and maximize their potential.

Moses Bliss has now issued an apology, saying “I sincerely apologize to every graphic designer who felt disrespected or undervalued… that was never my intention.”
He added “The goal was to give creatives a platform to showcase their work, not to undermine their value.”
