Brisbane Officials Stop Billie Eilish Fans from Camping Overnight for Concert
The Brisbane Entertainment Centre is strictly enforcing its no-camping policy after hundreds of Billie Eilish fans camped overnight to secure prime spots for her sold-out shows.
Despite repeated warnings, approximately 300 fans set up tents and sleeping bags in surrounding areas before Eilish’s second Brisbane performance. General Manager Trish McNamara emphasized that overnight camping is prohibited for safety reasons and urged fans to arrive on the day of their show.
To manage the enthusiastic crowds, the venue has implemented early queuing arrangements, opening Gate A at 5 a.m., and providing access to air-conditioned spaces, food, drinks, and merchandise.
Security teams are closely monitoring the situation to ensure compliance with the rules. These measures aim to maintain a safe and enjoyable experience for all attendees during Eilish’s “Hit Me Hard and Soft” tour, which continues in Brisbane before moving to Sydney and Melbourne.
