Brother of VeryDarkMan Raises Alarm After EFCC Arrests Him Over Comments on GTBank
Brother of Nigerian Activist, VeryDarkMan, VDM, speaks out on the recent arrest of his brother by the security operatives of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
It can be recalled that VDM was arrested yesterday which was revealed by his lawyer, it was stated that the activist was arrested over his comment on GTBank.
VDM’s brother then came to social media to lament about the situation revealing that they refuse to release him. “We’ve gone through the necessary channels. They have refused to let VDM and the other go or get treated because information reaching us was that they were badly injured.”
“I don’t know the agenda EFCC has against VDM. But whatever this is, GTBank and the EFCC know how this will end.”

Nigerian TikTok influencer Peller makes headlines for his vows to his wife, Jarvis, at their white wedding, which was held on August 1, 2026. The couple had previously announced the date ahead of their wedding.
The influencer added in his vows “We are one. Whatever is mine is yours. I promise to do 50/50 with you; I don’t care what people say.”
Fans were left in awe of the couple and shared how their love appears genuine despite the content and jokes they often make online.
Nigerian music executive Soso Soberekon offers Peter Okoye ₦500 million if he beats his brother, Paul Okoye, in a boxing match.
It can be noted that the music executive wrote out the offer on his phone and simply put it out “₦500 Million Naira to fight your twin in a boxing match.”
