Kendi Muthomi, a Kenyan engineer and Ph.D. scholar in Entomology at the University of Florida, has encouraged women to prioritize education and financial success.

She emphasized that modern men are increasingly seeking educated and financially independent women.

The Kaduna State Primary Healthcare Development Agency reported one death out of 86 suspected cholera cases. Hamza Ibrahim-Ikara, the Director of Public Health, shared this during an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Thursday in Kaduna.

He mentioned that while cholera had spread across 30 states in the last five months, Kaduna remained unaffected until August 15. The first case was a 16-year-old boy from Likoro in Kudan LGA, who died before receiving treatment. After his death, the state activated its rapid response team on August 16. Since then, 19 cases appeared in Kudan, Sabon Gari, and Kubau LGAs. Out of 86 suspected cases across nine LGAs, 24 patients have recovered and been discharged.
