Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher has described the team’s 1-0 victory over Paris Saint-Germain as “one of the biggest robberies in football.”

Harvey Elliott scored the only goal in the 87th minute at the Parc des Princes after coming off the bench, giving Liverpool a narrow lead heading into the second leg of their Champions League last-16 tie.

Despite the win, Liverpool was completely outplayed by PSG. The French champions dominated the game, registering 27 shots—including 10 on target—while Liverpool managed just one, which turned out to be the match-winner.

PSG also had a first-half goal from Khvicha Kvaratskhelia ruled out for a tight offside, and only Alisson Becker’s heroics in goal kept them from scoring.

Speaking on CBS Sports, Carragher couldn’t believe what he had witnessed. “Got away with it? That’s one of the biggest robberies you’ll ever see in football,” he said. “PSG were absolutely outstanding, they were brilliant. They battered Liverpool.”
