Chef Damilola Adeparusi, popularly known as Chef Dammy, has cleared the air on rumors suggesting she plans to chase a Guinness World Record for cooking the largest pot of beans. The talk started shortly after Hilda Baci set a new record with the biggest pot of Nigerian jollof rice.

Taking to her social media on Wednesday, the Ekiti-born chef firmly denied the claims, saying she had no intention of embarking on such a challenge. She also used the opportunity to celebrate Hilda’s achievement.

“Some people have been asking if I want to cook again, even my classmates are joking about beans,” she said with a laugh. “But honestly, why would I do that? Big congratulations to Miss Hilda on her remarkable project of cooking the biggest pot of jollof rice to feed thousands. It’s a win for Nigeria and for Africa as a whole.”
