Chef Dammy Says She Has No Plan to Cook the Largest Pot of Beans After Hilda’s Record
Chef Damilola Adeparusi, popularly known as Chef Dammy, has cleared the air on rumors suggesting she plans to chase a Guinness World Record for cooking the largest pot of beans. The talk started shortly after Hilda Baci set a new record with the biggest pot of Nigerian jollof rice.
Taking to her social media on Wednesday, the Ekiti-born chef firmly denied the claims, saying she had no intention of embarking on such a challenge. She also used the opportunity to celebrate Hilda’s achievement.
“Some people have been asking if I want to cook again, even my classmates are joking about beans,” she said with a laugh. “But honestly, why would I do that? Big congratulations to Miss Hilda on her remarkable project of cooking the biggest pot of jollof rice to feed thousands. It’s a win for Nigeria and for Africa as a whole.”

He added “The goal was to give creatives a platform to showcase their work, not to undermine their value.”
