Chelsea Legend, Tony Cascarino Advises Maresca to Switch Nkunku’s Position

Published

Former Chelsea Legend, Tony Cascarino, advises Enzo Maresca on the best position to place Christopher Nkunku in the team.

Earlier in 2023, Chelsea signed in Nkunku for over £50 Million. However the player has suffered injuries putting off the game for a while and reducing his skills.

The player was later rumored to move from Chelsea during the January transfer but eventually changed his mind to stay.

Speaking to the media, Cascarino shared his thoughts on the player. “They have a real issue at center-forward. Nkunku, I’m sorry, but you’re carrying him as a centre-forward.”

“I had no idea why Maresca selected him after the performance he put in during the cup game against Brighton.”

”I will give him one benefit of the doubt: he is not a centre-forward. His best play has always been off the left.”
