Chelsea Scouts Target Leverkusen’s Victor Boniface

Chelsea have shifted their focus to Bayer Leverkusen striker Victor Boniface after failing to land Victor Osimhen this summer. According to TBR Football, the club has been scouting the 23-year-old recently.
Still keen on strengthening their attack in the January window, Chelsea is closely monitoring Boniface, who is contracted to Leverkusen until 2028. Valued at €40m, the former Bodo/Glimt forward has been in fine form this season, with four goals and an assist in six games.

Scaloni Urges Fans Not to Pressure Messi Over 2026 World Cup

Argentina’s head coach, Lionel Scaloni, has urged fans not to pressure Lionel Messi about playing in the 2026 World Cup.
Argentina secured their spot in next year’s tournament after a 4-1 win over Brazil earlier this week, leaving many wondering if Messi, now 37, will aim for his sixth World Cup appearance.
“We’ll see what happens. There’s still plenty of time,” Scaloni said. “We need to take it one game at a time. Let’s not drive him crazy with this. He’ll decide when he’s ready.”
Messi missed Argentina’s last two matches against Uruguay and Brazil due to a low-grade adductor muscle injury. The Inter Miami star is currently focused on recovery.

Argentina coach, Lionel Scaloni publicly forgives Brazil player, Raphinha amid the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier.
The Brazil footballer shared during an interview just before the match that Brazil will beat Argentina silly. “We’re going to give Argentina a beating, no doubt. Am I going to score? Yes. With everything. F**k them.”
However the match ended on a different story with Argentina celebrating their 4-1 win against Brazil. Afterwards Scaloni speaks to the press on the match “I forgive Raphinha because I know he didn’t do it on purpose, he’s defending his country.”
“I’m completely sure he didn’t mean to hurt anyone. We didn’t play like this because of that.”

Nigerian Footballer, Victor Osimhen expresses frustration as he storms off the football field after match with Zimbabwe. The recent match ended in a 1-1 draw with Zimbabwe.
Super Eagles were gen multiple chances to cause the match to end in a victory but however missed it. Shortly after a failed pass, Osimhen was substituted after gaining a cramp, with Victor Boniface.
During the last moments of the match, Chirewa was able to secure an important point of Zimbabwe. Leaving Nigeria in third place in Group C.
After the match, Osimhen was visibly frustrated as he left the field, Boniface was also seen attempting to comfort the player.
