Chidera Ejuke Named Sevilla Player of the Month After Impressive September
Nigerian winger Chidera Ejuke has been honored as Sevilla’s Player of the Month for September, marking a significant achievement in his career.
During the month, Ejuke showcased his talent with five league appearances, contributing to the team with a crucial goal.
His standout moment came on September 24, when he netted the winning goal in a thrilling 2-1 victory over Real Valladolid, helping secure three vital points for the Rojiblancos.
Since joining Sevilla on a free transfer in the summer, the 26-year-old has consistently impressed fans and coaches alike with his dynamic play and determination on the field.
His remarkable performances have not only solidified his place in the starting lineup but have also caught the attention of national selectors.
As a result of his strong showing, Ejuke has received a call-up to represent the Super Eagles in the upcoming 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying matches against the Mediterranean Knights of Libya.
He is set to join his international teammates in camp today, eager to contribute to the team’s quest for qualification.

Former Manchester United player, Jesse Lingard, has revealed that he has mutually agreed to leave FC Seoul and his contract will end. It is reported that he will leave next week.
It can be noted that the footballer joined in February 2024 and has made 66 appearances since then, scoring 18 goals.

When comparing players, he shared that: “When Saka is on it, he looks unplayable,” however he also stated that even with Salah’s stature, he is strong.
He has got the strength like Mohamed Salah. He is small in frame and size when you look at him, but do you ever see him get pushed off the ball?
“You don’t really see people take the ball off him or put him on his arse. He is a strong little guy.”
