Chidimma Adetshina Joins Miss Universe Nigeria
Miss South Africa contestant Chidimma Adetshina, who faced controversy over her nationality, has now joined the Miss Universe Nigeria competition, representing Taraba State. Chidimma, born in 2001 at Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital in Soweto, has an Igbo father and a Mozambican mother who became a naturalized South African citizen.
Amid the controversy surrounding her participation in Miss South Africa, which led to an investigation by the South African Ministry of Home Affairs, Chidimma withdrew from the competition. She accepted an invitation to compete in the 2024 Miss Universe Nigeria pageant instead. The organisers introduced her as Miss Taraba, contestant number 25, on their official site, announcing her participation.

To celebrate this new collection and collaboration, New Balance is hosting a pop-up store called ‘Winter Universe’.
This unique pop-up experience allows fans and shoppers to explore the new winter collection up close, offering a space where style and innovation meet.
The ‘Winter Universe’ pop-up will give attendees the chance to engage with the brand in a whole new way while experiencing firsthand the quality and design that have made New Balance a favorite worldwide.

Pageant Queen, Chidimma Adetshina is ranked 2nd in the World’s Miss Universe pre-arrival hot picks. This information was disclosed from the poll on Tuesday.
The Pageant story began from when she was rejected from Miss South Africa beauty pageant due to her nationalities. Miss Nigeria then extends an invite to the pageant and welcomed her as tgheir own with one of her nationalities being Nigerian and they do not discriminate. Many Nigerian followed her story and cheered when they found out the invitation to Miss Nigeria. Now she has embarked on a new journey towards World’s Miss Universe.
