Christina Aguilera recently reflected on the challenges she faced during the era of her self-titled debut album, which just marked its 25th anniversary.
In an interview with *Paper* magazine, Aguilera, now 43, discussed feeling uncomfortable with the pressure to portray a hypersexualized, innocent image that didn’t align with her true self. She expressed her frustration with the industry’s expectations and how it influenced her decision to shift her image dramatically with the release of her 2002 hit single “Dirrty.”
Aguilera revealed that her early success came with significant downsides, including the pressure from male figures in the industry who tried to shape her image. This experience led her to create empowering songs like “Fighter,” where she pushed back against the conflicting expectations of being both sexy and sweet. Looking back, Aguilera acknowledges how these experiences shaped her journey, teaching her valuable lessons about authenticity and self-expression.

Iyabo Ojo Reveals EFCC Summoned Her Over Money Spraying at Daughter’s Wedding

Popular Nollywood Actress Iyabo Ojo reveals that Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, called for her to come in after she sprayed money at her daughter’s wedding on the 17th of April, 2025.
It can be noted that EFCC has started gaining more attention after recent scandal with VeryDarkMan’s arrest. The arrest has caused the masses to speak out and claim it as an act of injustice. Many celebrities have also spoken out to join the masses in calling out for the release of VeryDarkMan.
Amid this, Iyabo Ojo steps out to reveal that EFCC has also called for her both on the 17th of April and the 19th of April, after her daughter’s wedding. “The EFCC officials clarified that spraying money, including on people’s bodies, is prohibited. I was surprised to learn that spraying any currency, including Dollars, is also not allowed.”
