Nigerian Singer, Ckay expresses his thought on the comments about him smiling. He states that he does not feel the need to show happiness, hence not smiling in pictures or in general. This was brought up during an interview in Afrobeats Intelligence podcast hosted by Joey Akan. The host compliments Ckay’s smile and he disclose that he has been told he has a nice smile.

The host then asks further questions regarding this, “When people describe how you smile, what do they say? What’s the most repetitive or recurring review of your smile?”.

The singer replies that he has been told he has a mice smile and should smile but reflects that he is not exactly in a happy place regarding his album and tries to portray his emotions in his work.

“There are moments to smile and moments of reality; positive and negative emotions happen to a person, so I say making music only about the positive things, it won’t be realistic. For someone like me making art has to represent the positives and negatives for it to be authentic.”

Lady Gaga is now just one award away from joining the very exclusive EGOT club, which includes winners of an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony. On May 20, 2025, she added a Sports Emmy to her collection for her powerful Super Bowl LIX performance of “Hold My Hand.” The award recognized her music direction during a heartfelt tribute to the victims of the January 1 terrorist attack on Bourbon Street in New Orleans. Gaga performed the song on piano right on Bourbon Street, backed by a local gospel choir, and shared the stage with sports legends Tom Brady and Michael Strahan.

Before this Emmy, Gaga had already won 14 Grammys and took home an Oscar in 2019 for “Shallow,” the hit song from A Star Is Born. That year was historic for her, as she became the first woman to win an Academy Award, BAFTA, Golden Globe, and Grammy all in the same year. The Sports Emmy now brings her closer than ever to EGOT status — she just needs a Tony Award to complete the set.

Lady Gaga’s journey to EGOT has been marked by remarkable milestones across music, film, and television. Her Grammy wins go back to 2009 when she first rose to fame with “Just Dance,” and she continues to rack up accolades for her recent works, including songs like “Die With a Smile.”

While the Tony Award has so far eluded her, Gaga’s ongoing projects and undeniable talent make it clear she’s within reach of this rare achievement. Fans and industry watchers are excited to see if she will soon claim the final award needed to officially become an EGOT winner, a title held by fewer than 30 people worldwide.

Jennifer Lopez Sued for Posting Paparazzi Photo Without Permission

Jennifer Lopez has landed in legal trouble over a photo she once shared on her Instagram Story. The pop star and actress is being sued for $150,000 after posting an image of herself holding hands with then-boyfriend Alex Rodriguez back in 2017. The photo, taken by a paparazzi agency called Splash News, is at the center of the dispute.

The agency claims Lopez didn’t ask for permission before posting the image, which they say is a violation of their copyright. Since professional agencies like Splash News make money by licensing their images to media outlets, they argue that her sharing it freely on social media damaged their business.

This isn’t the first time Jennifer has been called out over photo use online. In a separate case, photographer Steve Sands filed a lawsuit against her and her company, Nuyorican Productions. He’s also demanding $150,000, saying she posted one of his pictures without a license to promote her brand to her millions of followers.

Jennifer now joins a list of celebrities who’ve faced similar lawsuits — stars like Ariana Grande, Gigi Hadid, and Khloé Kardashian have all been sued for sharing paparazzi photos of themselves. These cases show that even if you’re the subject in the photo, it doesn’t mean you automatically have the right to post it.

Shakira is back and she’s taking the world by storm with her brand-new 2025 World Tour titled Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran, which means Women Don’t Cry Anymore. It’s her first global tour in seven years, and fans across the globe are buzzing with excitement. The tour opened in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on February 11, with a packed stadium of 46,000 fans cheering her on as she stepped back into the spotlight.

This tour isn’t just about the music — it’s about a woman who turned pain into power. After her very public breakup with former footballer Gerard Piqué in 2022, Shakira decided to channel her emotions into her art. During her opening night, she shared a heartfelt message with her fans, saying music has been her way of healing and reminding everyone that loving yourself is just as important as loving others.

The energy at her concerts is electrifying. She’s performing a powerful mix of her all-time hits like Hips Don’t Lie, Whenever, Wherever, and Waka Waka, alongside emotional new tracks from her latest album. Her song Shakira: Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53 stands out, as it dives deep into her personal journey and growth.

Visually, the tour is stunning.

With help from her longtime stylist Nicolas Bru, Shakira is changing outfits about ten times during each show. The costumes are more than just clothes — they tell stories. One of the standout looks is a glittering gown made of thousands of crystals, representing strength and transformation. Designers like Versace and Zuhair Murad helped bring her vision to life, adding elegance and drama to the stage.

After touring several cities in Latin America, she kicked off the North American leg of the tour on May 13 in Charlotte, North Carolina. That night, she surprised fans by bringing out two music legends — Alejandro Sanz and Wyclef Jean. The crowd went wild as they performed La Tortura and Hips Don’t Lie live together, creating a magical moment.
