Cleric Urges Women to Define Relationships Early to Avoid Heartbreak
Lagos-based cleric, Kingsley Okonkwo, has advised women to ask men early in relationships about their intentions to avoid wasting time and potential heartbreak.
While preaching, Okonkwo emphasized the importance of defining relationships with purpose, urging women not to date aimlessly.
He stressed, “It’s important for women to clearly define their relationships from the start. Many women hesitate to seek clarity, which often leads to trouble later. You shouldn’t just date without a purpose; dating should be a step towards marriage.
Some women claim men broke their hearts, but often they allowed the relationship to drag on without clear intentions. If a man dates you for years without commitment, he hasn’t lied — it’s just that the relationship was never clearly defined from the beginning.”
Okonkwo encouraged women to prioritize marriage-minded relationships and avoid long-term, undefined commitments that lead to disappointment.
