Davido Applauds Belgium’s Groundbreaking Move to Legalize Health Insurance for Sex Workers
Nigerian music superstar Davido has shared his excitement over Belgium’s historic move to legalize health insurance for sex workers.
The Belgian government recently signed new laws that provide enhanced protections for sex workers, ensuring they can access the same welfare benefits as other workers.
These benefits include pensions, maternity leave, sick days, and, most notably, health insurance.
This groundbreaking decision makes Belgium the first country in the world to extend health insurance to sex workers, marking a significant step toward recognizing their rights and improving their working conditions.
The move has received praise from various quarters, including Davido, who took to social media to commend the Belgian government.
In his post, he called it a “groundbreaking move by Belgium,” noticing the importance of this legal step in ensuring the safety and well-being of sex workers.
