Davido Celebrates 11 Million Monthly Listeners on Spotify
Afrobeats superstar Davido, whose full name is David Adeleke, has shared a reflective message about his career after hitting a major milestone on Spotify.
The “OBO” singer recently reached 11 million monthly listeners on the platform for the first time, following the release of his fifth studio album, 5ive. Davido took to social media to express his pride, emphasizing that he built his career from scratch, without the backing of any major industry figures or “musical godfathers” like many of his peers.
Acknowledging the role of divine support and his fans, he posted on X (formerly Twitter), “No co-sign, built from the ground up! Just God, good music, and the best fans! Appreciate you guys fr [for real]!”
Nigerian actress Bisola Aiyeola speaks on motherhood and when she found out she was first going to be a mother.
