Davido Promises To Always Protect Tiwa Savage Despite Past Disagreements

Nigerian artist, Davido has made it clear that he’ll do whatever it takes to protect Tiwa Savage from harm, putting to rest any concerns about their past issues.

This statement comes a year after Tiwa Savage filed a petition against the singer, accusing him of threatening her life. The tension between the two started in January 2024, when Tiwa posted a picture with Davido’s first baby mama, Sophia Momodu, on social media.

Tiwa’s ex-husband, Teebillz, reacted strongly, vowing to teach Davido a lesson for the alleged threat. However, Davido addressed the situation in an interview with Breakfast Club, reassuring fans that Tiwa is safe.

He referred to Tiwa as his “sister for life” and emphasized their strong bond, explaining that their fallout was a personal matter due to her friendship with Sophia. Davido made it clear that no matter what, he would always have Tiwa’s back.

“We are family, and I love her and her child. It’s just like a brother-sister argument,” he added. “She reached out, and I will never let anything happen to her.”

During a recent interview, the singer spoke about the African music movement.
